The Ultimate Duo





Note:

* I didn't drink the soup

* I stirred once, and whatever cream was left after sipping the beverage, well, I just left it there.

....so it's not so bad

Day 38 of 50

Tuesday. Return of the 'bad-diet'.

It was so friggin busy, that I don't even know what I was doing anymore.

I ate breakfast and lunch at 630PM (oh but I did have breakfast - a bag of eggnog cookies), and my dinner was this pandan chiffon from Bengawan Solo and for dessert, I ordered 1 tall iced white mocha without whipped cream (but I got 1 tall iced white mocha with a heap of whipped cream. Thanks Ms. Barista, for being so generous just when I specifically said I didn't want whipped cream. This was from Starbucks at Wisma). Why Starbuck? Well, it was my friends treat =).

The only exercise I did was walk from the MRT station to where I live, some 6 or 7 blocks (but I'm probably exaggerating).

What I ate:

-1 curry flavored cup noodles (donated by my caring friend in the office)
- 1 slice pandan chiffon from Bengawan Solo (sgd 0.80)
- 1 Tall Iced white mocha with whipped cream

Monday.. no further introduction needed.

Busy as a bee, bussing about and doing I don't know what.

I stayed till 930PM, so ofcourse, no more workout.

I ate:

- 1 mixed rice from Orchard towers - soft tofu, okra and chicken

- 1 cookie from my friend
- 1 bag of broad beans
- 1 Blackcurrant ensure

I'm a Sucker for Set Meals







Day 36 of 50

A few more days and I'll be done with this 50 day thing (a self-imposed punishment).

I know now that I did something wrong, and this is the reason why I didn't lose much.

I should have stuck to my diet and did cardio for the first 2 weeks, instead of jump starting my workout with weight lifting and strength training. Now, I have converted my fats to muscles. Sigh.

Anyway, no workout for today because I feel lazy on Sundays.

What I ate:

- 1 pc strawberry cookie
- 1 fish soup with rice
- 1 vitagen (like yakult - it was free at Velocity, Novena)
- 1 set meal at Greenhouse cafe, Vivo City - Seafood pasta with marinara sauce, cream of to-mah-toh soup and mango pudding plus some overly-diluted fruit juice.

Day 35 of 50






















Saturday is food adventure day!












Before I went out, I went to the gym for a 60 min workout session, had I known what I was going to eat, I would have stayed another 30 minutes.

I ate:

- 1 potato ham bread
- 2 pcs cookies (strawberry jam filled)
- 1 cup Alive yogurt (my absolute favorite yogurt)
- 1 oreo chewy junior (free for purchasing SGD20 worth of merchandise from TS video store)
- 1 Fried chicken noodles ( 'spiciness' option chose: 2 chillies. Whoa! So spicy)
- 1 piece prawn spring roll
- 1 Snapple cranberry raspberry
- 1 small pack of wasabi broad beans

It's a Friday!
No dinner date, but just the same, no workout either as I stayed late in the office to finish some stuff.
The company gave out bagged caramel popcorns to everyone, and I ate it all up.
The complete list of what I ate:
- 1 Bag caramel popcorn
- About 4 pcs of small Dole Japan bananas
- Thai green chicken curry (so spicy and sooo yummy). This was from an authentic Thai stall in Orchard Towers
- 1 tuna bread and 1 donut from Cake History, Toa Payoh
- 1 big piece of pork skin from Thailand. Well, we weren't really sure what it was, but it had a picture of a pig, and it tasted like crackled skin. It was good but super guilt-triggering.
